Car hire

We will be happy to quote car hire rates with one of our local suppliers in Kefalonia. Please contact us advising the following information :

  • The dates you require a car (start date and end date)
  • Would you like the car delivered to the airport for your arrival?
  • The number of people in your party
  • The type of car you would like to hire

If you are collecting a car from the airport and driving to one of our accommodations in Agia Efimia (or surrounding area), we will forward clear driving instructions to you, including photographs of the main junctions, which will make your journey very straightforward.


Taxi Transfers

Transfers to Sami and Agia Efimia by taxi from the airport can be expensive. I have heard various amounts starting at 55 Euros and rising to 90 Euros. There is little point arguing after the event so before you get into the taxi ask the fare to your destination.

If you are traveling to Sami or Agia Efimia and staying in accommodation we have arranged, please email us if you would like us to arrange a private taxi transfer for you from the airport when you arrive. The cost for 2008 is currently 43 Euros and we can arrange this with a reliable local taxi based in Agia Efimia or Sami. Do not forget to arrange the return trip to the airport with the driver, and get his telephone number in case you need to contact him in the meantime
