We had a fantastic holiday, Kefalonia is so beautiful, varied and unspoilt by tourism.

We were very comfortable in Maria's apartments.

We intend to return (probably in a couple of years time) and will look to your website as a first port of call for acccommodation.

Hi Judi and Paul

Just a quick line to let you know how much we all enjoyed our brief stay in Aghia Efimia!! Everything worked well with the accom. in Katerina and Nicoleta Apartments they are spacious and the interconnecting balcony for a larger group worked well. Their position is ideal just a few minutes stroll from the main seafront/harbour yet set back from the main road so minimal traffic noise.

What a find Aghia Efimia is, a lovely place to stay and relax i feel as though i want to keep it a secret!

Really good to meet the both of you and thanks from all of us for the local wine you supplied at the tavena it was much appreciated. The only downside was that we could not stay longer, however several of the chaps are already thinking of retuning with their respective wives and partners.

Finally a big thank you from me to the both of you for all your help on various matters whilst plannig the trip.

Hi Judi & Paul!

We are back in dreary England (landed last night) and feeling very sad!

Just wanted to say we have had the most amazing, beautiful holiday in Kephalonia. We are in love with the island...... All 4 of us declared it our best holiday ever and ultimately, its thanks to you guys...

Thank you so so much once again Judi for organising evrything. Agia Efimia is just beautiful with the right amount of tavernas etc. not crowded; just wonderful.

As for the villa...well we have been holidaying in Greece for over 25 years and have honestly not stayed in such luxury; amazing decor, space, finishing touches all just excellent.

Also our new friends Thanassis and his wife.... what beautiful people. When we arrived, Thanassis greeted us and spent half an hour showing us around and giving us information. Not only that but he had provided tea, coffee, sugar, juice, water, bread, butter, jams, beer and wine!! It just doesnt get much better than that. He popped by every day to check that everything was okay, his wife came in to clean every day...the service was faultless and really they were so good to us and such lovely people.

We are honestly feeling really deflated today and already missing Agia Efimia which felt like home for a week.....

Just want to say once again, thank you so much or efkharisto! for all your help, advice and support for our holiday. Kephalonia has got into our hearts...

Hi Judi & Paul,

Once again we had a fabulous time and the accommodation provided was excellent.  Spiro's & his family certainly made us very welcome and kept us going with fresh apricots & tomatoes from his garden.  The apartment itself was spotless & well laid out and it was so nice to sit on the balcony of an evening and just relax.  I know it was up a hill but the walk up was not bad & we managed this no problem.  It would only take 5 min to get down to the village and perhaps 10 min to get back up again & neither of us are particularly fit.

Once again Allan & I are very impressed with the service that you and Paul provide and it is very reassuring to know that you would be supportive in the event of any problems. 

Your personal touch is very much appreciated and I was just sorry that we did not manage to catch up with you this year but know how it is.

We will definitely be back again and will be in contact to see what delight Astro Holidays can offer. All the best to both of you and have a good summer and give our best wishes & thanks to Spriros,  he works very hard.

Gavril Villas provided us with everything that we needed and the location was perfect.  Could you please pass on our thanks to Thanasis for being the ideal host and assure him that we will be back in the near future!

Dear Judi and Paul,

Just wanted to send you a huge thanks for introducing us to Agia Efimia and for giving us such a great welcome. Jo and I have been going to Greece together for 11 years and were unanimous that this has been our best trip to date.

It is a beautiful place with lovely people on a fantastic Island - our only complaint was having to come back to Britain. Coming back to work today was very hard indeed - but great memories to help things along!

The Fotini studios were lovely and we are very grateful to Fotini and Spiro for their hospitality - and the walk up the hill really isn't that bad - honest!!

We had a great time and enjoyed getting to know the locals a bit more.

Spiro was so kind and friendly!  He really wanted to make sure everything was OK and if we needed help then to just tell him.  The apartments were excellent and the views were amazing.

You really made us feel welcome again and it was nice eating out with you and the guys at the beginning of our holiday.  Nikos was excellent with the car and we had no trouble. Its so nice to walk off the plane, see your name on a card and then given the car hassle free.

Thanks again for the 1st class service we get from you guys.  Its an amazing village with the only thing spoiling it the occasional site of a big blue coach full of sheep with someone stood at the front with a microphone and a clipboard!

Just wanted to say thanks to you both for helping make my fortnight such a fabulous time! There were so many highlights, I don't know which was the best bit (tho could probably choose the one bit I'd just like to forget....!!!), helped by having such good fun and company - and Paul, finding the goat bell as I was having my last cup of coffee was fantastic! It is now dangling from my tree keeping the birds away and annoying the neighbours!!

Thought I'd also forewarn you... I'm planning to definitley come back next year (sadly dont think it can be sooner).

(Have to say this is the only place I EVER a) want to come back to and b) bookso far ahead for!!)

Hi both

Had a fantastic time in Kefalonia, it’s just a shame we couldn’t make it 2 weeks but we will next time.

Agia Efimia was our type of place so we’re glad we finally made it there. Vicky Apartment was lovely especially eating breakfast on the terrace every morning and Katerina was extremely helpful with anything we asked.

Oh well it’s back to reality now but we can look forward to planning our next holiday.

Hi both

As you know this was our second visit to Agia Efimia and we loved it just as much second time around.  Thanasis couldn't have been any more attentive - he was there cleaning the pools every morning and clearly cares about his properties and guests.  He asked me every morning if all was good, had we slept well and was there anything we needed.

We had a lovely stay and will certainly contact you again when the time comes for us to return to your lovely part of the world

Having returned from gavril villas we would like you to know how pleased we were with the property and with the caring way that you looked after our booking. Mr T is such a charming man who really looked after us during our stay.

We could have done with a small pan,a jug and a plastic container for mixing, but apart from those things everything else was there.

We had a great time both weeks.  We saw most of the island and went over to Ithaca, and believe that in Agia Efimia and Katelios we picked the best places to stay for us.  And within them the best apartments! 

We'll certainly recommend you to other people and if we come back would definitely go to the same places, but we usually go somewhere new so it may be sometime before we come back!

Note to all who are thinking of apackage deal to kefalonia - FORGET IT!!!
We have done -------  and ----- and yes they were ok ish but this year went with astro holidays in a fabulous apartment all arranged with Judi and Paul who we were so lucky to meet in the village the year before. The standard of apartment was fantastic and Judi's eye for detail gave us the comfort to enjoy our holiday in this wonderful location even more. They found us the jewel in our crowns and now we are having a job to top it anywhere else. They are truly wonderful people!!!!

We wanted to say that we had a great time in Agia Efimia. It was just what we wanted, relaxing and in an ideal setting. We had been to Kefalonia before (6 years ago) and stayed in Lassi, that time we found the island to be perfect but not the resort. This time we got the location right.
 
When we do re-visit Kefalonia we will definitely be staying at Agia Efimia and will be contacting you for our accommodation. Although it may not be for a couple of years as we still want to explore a few more Greek Islands.

We had a really good time at Makis appartments; it certainly got hot towards the end of our week!    We don't normally go back to the same place twice but we might make an exception this time although we would probably avoid July/August. 

We wanted to see more of the island but it got too hot to explore.   Didn't matter too much as our boys loved the pool and the sea.

Nikos and his mother Vicky received us with warm welcome, the apartment is nice and fits to our requirements.

And Kefalonia: this is really beautiful, it is amazing. We have visited Greece 4 times before, but nothing is comparable to Kefalonia - the feeling is just perfect for a relaxed holiday then just an additional point to be even more perfect: free wireless internet is available at the balcony..... well, this is not the most important, but creates even better feeling.

So, many thanks for your guide and support, we will definitely spread the name of astro-holidays in Hungary.

Andraeos (?) were lovely. When we were leaving and went to say goodbye, they invited us in for a coffee, cake and figs (yum yum) what a smashing couple.

Having now got a better idea of the island - we agree that Agia Efimia is probably the most central and ideal location for guests to travel both north and south. It's almost (in our opinion anyway!) one of the loveliest resorts on Kefalonia.

Your local knowledge and connections was also extremely useful and we very soon felt part of the local community!

Thanks so much for making our holiday such a lovely experience .... we very much hope to be able to return some time in the future.

The journey home couldn't have gone any better, we found the airport no problem, were second in the check in queue, checked in, up to the taverna for about 2 hours for a leisurely lunch, quick visit to the duty free, then we got called to board our flight on time and actually arrived back at Gatwick 20 mins early. Even the drive round the M25 was ok.

Anyway thanks again for making our first visit to Kefalonia so memorable.
