The Faos Apartments are conveniently located on the Dendrinata road on the outskirts of Agia Efimia, a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village and at the foot of Mt. Kalon (a heavily protected mountain where the Griffin vulture is reputed to breed).  They are also close to the Gavril Villas, which are situated a little further up the road.

The privately owned Faos Apartments in Agia Efimia offer an exceptionally high standard of accommodation and are situated close to the sea, beaches and all the amenities of the village of Agia Efimia.  A hire car would not be necessary on a day to day basis in order to go backwards and forwards to the village.  However, if you wanted to explore further afield a hire car would be required.

The Faos Apartments, so named after the grand old tree (see photograph opposite) from where these fine apartments take their name, are built into the mountainside and located a short stroll away from the centre of the picturesque village.  There are three apartments, each one offering an enviably high standard of accommodation.

On the ground floor is a superbly appointed studio apartment which benefits from it's own gated entrance and spacious patio.

On the first floor is an exceptional 3 bedroom apartment with a much larger than average balcony.

The third Faos Apartment is located at the top of the building (yes, a few steps to climb ... err, 54 to be precise!). This is a charming and very spacious two bedroom apartment commanding magnificent panoramic views.

1. The Faos Studio Apartment (to sleep 2)  c

Located on the ground floor and benefitting from it's own private gated entrance and large patio, this apartment really is far more than the average holiday studio apartment.

As with each of the Faos Apartments, the studio is a property of quality and has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with an eye for detail. The studio benefits from a full size oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker and a tv with satellite.

Air-conditioning is available upon request and is arranged and paid for locally directly with the owner of the properties.  The cost is 5 Euros per air-conditioning unit per night.

2. The Faos 3 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 6)

This quality 3 bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of the property. The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished and well equipped - a superb choice for the discerning guest.

The front door opens onto a light, bright and airy open plan reception room comprising a fully fitted kitchen (includes full size oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board), a lounge area with feature fireplace and a large dining area.  There are two sets of casement doors from the dining area which open onto the large balcony which commands views over the village, the countryside, mountains and towards the sea at Agia Efimia.
 
Three spacious and well furnished bedrooms, a good sized bathroom with bath and shower over, plus an en-suite cloakroom to bedroom 2 complete this superb apartment.  Each bedroom affords plenty of wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space and also has a television (with satellite).

There is a washing machine (located in the bathroom - Greek style!), and the apartment is air-conditioned.  The air-conditioning is to be arranged and paid for locally, if required, and the cost is 5 Euros per air-conditioning unit per night, payable direct to the owner of the apartment.

The Faos 3 Bedroom Apartment is a top quality apartment in a convenient location. Please note - there are a number of steps leading to the apartment - 24 of them!

3. The Faos 2 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 4)

This charming 2 bedroom apartment is situated at the top of the property (52 steps up!).  However, once up there, the views over the sea, the village, the mountains and the countryside of the Pylaros Valley are spectacular.

The Faos 2 bedroom apartment is particularly spacious and comfortably sleeps 4 people.  The open-plan reception room, incorporating a lounge/diner and fully fitted and equipped kitchen, is extremely spacious.  A hallway leading from the reception room takes you to the two good sized bedrooms and the tiled shower room.  

Outside are two balconies from where you can enjoy the superb panoramic views.

This apartment also has air-conditioning which can be arranged and paid for locally, if required. The cost is 5 Euros per air-conditioning unit per night, payable directly to the owner of the apartment.

A two bedroom apartment in a convenient location which is competitively priced.  Once again, there are 52 steps up to this apartment making it an unsuitable choice for  anyone with health or mobility problems.
