_{Luxury Villa Apartment with swimming pool in superb location close to Agia Efimia}

Located only 5 minutes walk from the authentic Greek villages of Potamianata and Makriotika and only 3-4 kms from the beautiful coastal resort of Agia Efimia, the luxury ground floor apartment at Villa Astro offers the comforts and facilities normally associated with your own home. The apartment accommodates 4 people in 2 air-conditioned bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has patio doors opening onto the patio area. There is a well equipped kitchen and dining area plus a living room with sofas and coffee table and another patio door.
 

Locally there are many mountain tracks and walks some leading to ancient churches which are still in use today. Equidistant from the north and south ends of Kefalonia, it is an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the island. Close by and within easy walking distance are local supermarkets and a couple of authentic Greek tavernas. Nearby, in Agia Efimia there is boat hire, a diving school, beaches and more tavernas, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets.

Should you wish to dine in or entertain you may be tempted to dine Al fresco on the large patio overlooking the swimming pool area. Just around the corner is a built in BBQ. The kitchen has a full sized 4 ring electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster, saucepans and cooking utensils and is fully equipped with quality porcelain crockery for 6 people (in case you invite guests for dinner) plus plastic crockery and glasses for the pool area. There is also a radio/cd player.

The 10 by 5 mtr private swimming pool has 4 sun loungers and a couple of large parasols for those days you do not want to venture far, or for the times you return from sight seeing all hot and bothered and ready to relax with a cooling dip. The pool is cleaned and maintained on a daily basis

All windows and doors are fitted with retractable fly/mosquito screens. The apartment has a well appointed bathroom with full sized bath with shower as well as a separate shower cubicle. (shhh....you can even throw the paper down the loo!!).

Just outside the bathroom there is a ladies make-up area with dressing table, mirror and hairdryer. Sheets and towels are changed every 4 days. There are plenty of drawers and wardrobe space complete with hangers in each bedroom. Please note we do not supply towels for the beach or pool area, so you will need to bring your own beach towels.
 

We do not operate with a specific changeover day. Guests at Villa Astro Apartment are rarely requested to vacate the apartment by a certain time. You are therefore able to make the most of the last day on the island. This ensures the apartment and facilities of Villa Astro are available until the time comes to depart for the airport and the journey home.
 

A complimentary welcome pack is provided so that you can relax with a cup of tea or coffee or glass of wine allowing you to relax after your journey, plus your first breakfast in the apartment is catered for. Taking away the worry of where are the shops and will they be open when we arrive?
 

The 10 x 5 metre pool is checked and maintained on a daily basis. Please note no glasses or crockery are to be used in the pool area. Plastic glasses and plates etc. are provided for this location. There is a bbq if you wish to dine in, please ask if you need help at the butchers!
