The villa boasts an excellent sized private swimming pool (approx. 7m x 4m) which is for the exclusive use of guests staying at the villa.  There are plenty of sunloungers and parasols around the pool.  Villa Avvisania also benefits from a number of terraces providing plenty of areas for sunbathing as well as natural shade under the ancient olive tree. This superb villa is close to the picturesque coastal village of Agia Efimia (4kms) in the much sought after region of the Pylaros valley in Kefalonia.

With the world famous Myrtos beach only 15 minutes by car and also located on the  bus route provided by the Pylaros Municipality between the months of May to October, this superb villa is in an enviable location.

The villa is ideal for a relaxing holiday in superb surroundings within a traditional Greek village close to  a picturesque yachting harbour which boasts an excellent choice of tavernas and restaurants.

Villa Avvisania is in an ideal location and an excellent base for a relaxing holiday.  You can laze by the pool, dine al-fresco on a choice of terraces which are both well furnished, and make use of the excellent bbq facilities when you feel like dining in. The villa is in an ideal geographical spot from where you can easily explore the rest of the island.

Both the north and southern ends of Kefalonia are less than 1 hour away by car, whilst the beaches, shops, supermarkets and tavernas of Agia Efimia are less than 5 minutes away by car. A hire car is recommended for guests staying at Villa Avvisania.

Villa Avvisania is located in an elevated position within the village of Markata commanding superb sea, mountain and countryside views.  The villa is approached via electric gates and provides for ample off road parking.

From the villa, it is just a few minutes walk into the nearby village of Makriotika where you will find a smart village coffee shop and a traditional village taverna.  Both have tables, chairs and parasols on the village square where you can relax and marvel at the views down the valley to the sea and the village of Agia Efimia.

The village of Makriotika also boasts the 'Olive Story Museum', click here to see it - a charming and informative museum dedicated to the history of this very important island product. The museum is well worth a visit - it is a credit to the Pylaros Municipality who arranged and undertook the project.

Villa Avvisania is a beautifully furnished and appointed holiday home which provides well equipped luxury accommodation.

The spacious dual aspect lounge/diner is bright and airy.  It boasts an attractive built in fireplace - ideal for visits out of season!.  
 
The villa has a television with satellite tv, there is also a DVD player, a CD player and a desk top computer with wireless internet access.

The good sized kitchen is fitted with ample cupboard/storage space, a full size cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, (washing machine is located in the bathroom), coffee maker, toaster and a kettle.  

Villa Avvisania is a two bedroom villa,  both bedrooms benefit from being air-conditioned and have ample wardrobe/drawer space.  

The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second bedroom is a twin-bedded room. A fifth person can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the living room.

The modern bathroom has a shower cubicle, wc and wash basin set within an attractive illuminated cabinet incorporating cupboards and shelves.  There is also a hairdryer.
